Chris Darkes is an actor, writer, and author of Shoe Factory Road. A native of Schaumburg, IL ; his favorite thing above all else is sharing stories that inspire, scare, and keep the audience entertained. Remembering a childhood book depicting the most unbelievable true stories, he developed an interest in the eerie and unknown. His first acting/writing success was winning the 2007 Chipotle National Commercial contest.
J.C. Baez is a comic book artist, illustrator and painter from Chicago. Baez attended the School Of The Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Art. He has recently penciled and created the covers for Walter Koenig’s Things To Come comic book published by Bluewater Comics. Other recent projects include storyboards for Troll, the Tale of a Tail, Star Trek Phase II, Art for Jon Anderson’s (of Yes) comic book, Violin Stories and concept design for Kevin Max’s (DC Talk) Fiefdom Of Angels. He is currently developing a graphic novel with musician Peter Gabriel and has been working in the children’s book arena, illustrating the children’s book Pendleton and his Magical Friends as well as the short story collection A Box Of Shorts, both by author Mike Proko. He is also a painter who creates surrealist and narrative paintings, often touching on and combining spiritual and popular culture themes.
Jon Lyons is an artist, illustrator, cartoonist/animator, designer, and stand up comedian living in Chicago.He has worked with Walter Koenig, Jon Anderson of “Yes,” and Peter Gabriel on graphic novel projects, opened for Neil Hamburger, and exhibited paintings in The Brick Lane Gallery in London, and too many other projects to count. He draws the award-winning weekly political strip “Off the Square,” as well as “Always Poke Air Holes.”
